Day 3 — AIctually Help

Give people a place to start
AIctually Help started with a question: how do I help someone actually use AI in their own life?
I can tell people AI can change their lives, but I wanted to give them something they could try right away. Put the prompts directly on the webpage. Let someone find what they need, copy a prompt, paste it into an AI app, and start there.
That is the idea behind this project: make the first useful step easy to find.
Start with everyday things
An email is a good example. Someone might need help writing one, replying to one, or figuring out how to set up an email account in the first place. I want to meet people wherever they are starting.
The site gives people prompts for everyday tasks: emails, job applications, learning something new, organizing a task, or working through an idea. You do not have to arrive knowing what a good prompt looks like. There is something on the page you can use and adapt.
I want people to see a task they recognize and think, “I could try that.” Then they can ask another question, change the wording, and learn what works for them.
What if I could teach this at a nonprofit?
The bigger thought behind the website is this: what if I could go to a nonprofit and teach people how to use AI the way I know how to?
I would want to sit with people, find out what they need help with, and walk through it together. Start with the basics. Show them how to ask a question, explain their situation, and ask for a simpler answer when something does not make sense. Give them prompts they can return to after the session.
The webpage could be something we use together and something they take home. A place to start again when they forget what to type.
That is a direction I want to explore. I am recording the idea here; I have not established a nonprofit teaching program or completed those workshops.
Day 3 of showing up
This project is about sharing the practical ways I use AI so someone else can try them too. The website gives that idea a place to live. The next step I want to explore is turning it into a useful, hands-on session with a nonprofit.
